Job Description
A leading Australian accounting and financial services firm is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, maintain general ledgers, process month-end and year-end accounts, prepare BAS and taxation reports, reconcile bank accounts, manage payroll, support budgeting and forecasting, conduct financial analysis, ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and ATO regulations, and provide financial advice to management while maintaining accurate financial documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
CPA Australia or CA ANZ qualification (or working towards certification) is preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation.
Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a professional team.
Eligible to meet Australian employment and work visa requirements.
