ACCOUNTANT

A reputable New Zealand organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting, taxation, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, GST returns, and compliance with New Zealand accounting standards. The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, assist with audits, monitor financial performance, and provide financial support to senior management.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
CA ANZ or CPA qualification (or working towards certification) preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of New Zealand tax legislation and accounting standards.
Experience with Xero, MYOB, SAP, or QuickBooks.
Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
Excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Eligible to meet New Zealand work visa requirements.

NZD 6,900–9,700 monthly salary.
