Job Description
A leading Australian engineering and infrastructure company is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to support major construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering works including roads, bridges, commercial buildings, water infrastructure, and public developments. Responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings, reviewing project specifications, coordinating with contractors and consultants, monitoring construction progress, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, managing project documentation, conducting site inspections, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of Australian construction standards and engineering regulations is an advantage.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.
Experience with project planning and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera is preferred.
Strong understanding of structural, drainage, road, and utility design principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
Willingness to travel to construction sites when required.
Eligible to meet Australian employment and work visa requirements.
