CIVIL ENGINEER

A leading Canadian engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support infrastructure, commercial, and municipal development projects. The successful candidate will plan, design, and supervise civil engineering works including highways, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, drainage networks, and public infrastructure. Responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and technical reports, coordinating with architects, contractors, and government authorities, conducting site inspections, monitoring project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with Canadian building codes and safety regulations, and delivering projects within quality and performance standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects.
Knowledge of Canadian engineering standards and construction regulations is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.
Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
Strong understanding of structural, transportation, municipal, and water infrastructure projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligibility or willingness to obtain certification is an advantage.
