Job Description

A leading UK engineering and infrastructure company is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join its growing project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing infrastructure and construction projects including highways, bridges, railways, commercial buildings, drainage systems, and public utilities. Duties include preparing engineering designs and technical reports, conducting site inspections, coordinating with contractors and consultants, monitoring project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and health & safety standards, and delivering projects on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and British Standards is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.
Experience with project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
Strong understanding of structural, highways, drainage, and infrastructure design.
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Membership or eligibility for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is an advantage.
Eligible to meet United Kingdom employment and work visa requirements.
