Job Description
A leading New Zealand horticultural company is seeking reliable Greenhouse Workers to support year-round greenhouse production. The successful candidates will assist with planting seedlings, watering crops, pruning plants, harvesting vegetables and fruits, sorting produce, monitoring plant health, maintaining greenhouse cleanliness, operating basic horticultural equipment, and following workplace health, safety, and biosecurity standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in New Zealand's growing horticulture industry.
Requirements
Secondary school qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous greenhouse, horticulture, farming, or agricultural experience is an advantage.
Ability to work in warm greenhouse environments for extended periods.
Physically fit and capable of lifting crates and performing repetitive manual tasks.
Basic knowledge of plant care and crop handling is beneficial.
Good communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and seasonal shifts.
Eligible to meet New Zealand employment and visa requirements.
