Job Description
A leading New Zealand organisation is seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Officer to support recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, onboarding, training, performance management, and HR administration. The successful candidate will maintain employee records, assist with policy implementation, coordinate recruitment activities, ensure compliance with New Zealand employment legislation, and provide HR support to managers and employees while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of HR or recruitment experience is preferred.
Knowledge of New Zealand Employment Relations Act and workplace policies.
Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Eligible to meet New Zealand employment and work visa requirements.
