Job Description
A well-established Canadian industrial manufacturing company is seeking qualified Industrial Electricians to support electrical maintenance and production operations. The successful candidates will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial electrical equipment, motors, transformers, switchgear, control systems, and automation equipment. Responsibilities also include preventive maintenance, interpreting electrical schematics, responding to equipment breakdowns, ensuring compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position offers stable long-term employment with opportunities for career advancement within Canada's manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Requirements
ITI Electrician, Industrial Electrician Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC controls, motors, sensors, and automation equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and fault diagnosis.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and emergency maintenance schedules.
Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations.
Valid passport and eligibility to meet Canadian work permit requirements.
