Job Description
A leading Canadian agricultural and food production company is seeking motivated Picker and Packers to support harvesting, grading, sorting, and packing operations. Successful candidates will pick fresh fruits and vegetables, inspect produce for quality, package products according to company standards, label cartons, prepare pallets for shipment, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and comply with Canadian food safety and workplace health regulations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently during peak production periods.
Requirements
High school education is preferred but not mandatory.
Previous experience in agriculture, packing houses, food processing, or warehouse operations is an asset.
Physically fit and able to lift cartons weighing up to 20 kg.
Ability to work in cold storage and outdoor environments.
Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Basic English communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime during harvest seasons.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a team environment.
Knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene procedures is an advantage.
Eligible to obtain a Canadian work permit.
