Job Description
A leading Australian warehouse and distribution company is seeking an organized and reliable Storekeeper to manage inventory and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will receive, inspect, store, and issue materials, maintain accurate inventory records, perform stock counts, prepare goods for dispatch, coordinate with suppliers and warehouse staff, operate inventory management systems, ensure proper storage of products, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storeroom while complying with Australian workplace safety standards.
Requirements
High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Controller is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management procedures.
Experience using inventory management software and barcode scanning systems is an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Good numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to lift and move goods safely.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift Licence (LF) is an advantage but not mandatory.
Eligible to meet Australian employment and work visa requirements.
