Job Description
A leading Canadian logistics and distribution company is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage warehouse inventory and ensure efficient stock control operations. The successful candidate will receive and inspect incoming goods, maintain accurate inventory records, issue materials, prepare orders for dispatch, monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers and warehouse staff, operate inventory management software, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse in accordance with Canadian workplace safety standards.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or Stock Controller is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures.
Experience using barcode scanners and inventory software is an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
Good organizational, numerical, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to lift and move materials safely.
Forklift certification is an asset but not mandatory.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Eligible to meet Canadian employment and work visa requirements.
